Description

We leave from your lodging or ship, to discover a hydro volcano, the famous green lake in the south of the island. From there we will continue to los hervideros, a part of the island where the famous lava river , coming down from the volcanoes park met and touched the ocean. Taking the wonderful scenic road that allows us to see the new land of lanzarote, taken from the Atlantic, we will go to the Timanfaya national park. We will make a crossing of the national park and then enter the natural park of volcanoes and see the first crater that opened during the last great eruption. We continue to the vineyard area, La Geria, a unique and magical place, with the volcanoes as a backdrop reminding us of the thousands of difficulties required to cultivate this difficult land. . La Geria is the Unesco-protected vineyard area, the area with the highest concentration of Bodegas, wineries where we will be able to taste excellent volcanic malvasia. After stopping among the vineyards and perhaps tasting some good wine and excellent local food, we will continue our excursion northward, toward the lands of Cesar Manrique. We will see how the island changes as we move away from the volcanoes ( modern ) and head towards the old capital Teguise and stop to see one of Cesar's works, either the cactus garden or los james de agua or why not both if we have enough time! Then little by little we will head back toward your lodging.
