Description
This private tour departs from your lodging or ship to explore Lanzarote’s volcanic landscapes.
First, visit the green lake inside a hydro volcano crater in the south of the island. Then continue to Los Hervideros, where lava flows from the volcanoes meet the Atlantic Ocean.
Travel along a scenic road offering views of new volcanic land formed from the Atlantic. Arrive at Timanfaya National Park to cross the park and see the first crater from the last major eruption.
The tour proceeds to La Geria, a UNESCO-protected vineyard area known for its unique volcanic soil cultivation. This region has the highest concentration of bodegas (wineries), where you can taste volcanic Malvasía wine.
After sampling local wines and cuisine, head north towards the cultural sites inspired by César Manrique. Visit either the Cactus Garden or Jameos del Agua volcanic tunnel, or both if time permits. The tour concludes with a return to your accommodation.
