Description

Begin your adventure with a pickup from your accommodation and travel south across Lanzarote’s striking volcanic landscapes in a comfortable 4x4 vehicle. Your first stop is the charming village of Yaiza, known for its whitewashed houses and traditional Canarian atmosphere. Continue toward the southern coast to reach Papagayo Beach, one of Lanzarote’s most beautiful natural beaches. Here, you will have free time to relax, enjoy the scenery, and take a refreshing swim in the Atlantic Ocean (weather permitting). The route then follows the coast to El Golfo, where you will stop to admire the famous Green Lagoon (Charco de los Clicos), a unique volcanic crater lake contrasting with black lava fields and the Atlantic Ocean. Next, visit the Timanfaya Visitor Center to learn about Lanzarote’s volcanic origins and how powerful eruptions shaped the island’s dramatic landscape. The off-road section of the tour takes you through volcanic terrain toward La Geria, Lanzarote’s iconic wine-growing area, where vines grow directly in volcanic ash protected by stone semicircles. The tour includes a stop at a traditional local winery, where guests are offered a small courtesy sample of local wine in a relaxed, informal setting.
