Description
Travel south from your hotel through farming villages including Tao, Tiagua, and Mancha Blanca. The landscape gradually changes as you approach Timanfaya National Park, formed by volcanic eruptions in the 18th and 19th centuries. This unique area offers insight into volcanic activity and local life.
Optional camel rides are available near Timanfaya for €6 per person, lasting 20 minutes. Afterwards, the tour continues to the west coast, known locally as the Lava Coast, where a short walk leads to a viewpoint overlooking the Green Lagoon.
Conclude the tour in La Geria, where vineyards are planted in volcanic craters protected by dry-stone walls. The tour then returns you to your hotel or accommodation.
