Description
This excursion covers the north and south of Lanzarote, starting with a guided visit to the volcanic caves of Cueva de los Verdes. You may choose to pay extra to enter Jameos del Agua, a natural lava tube hosting a unique lake and auditorium.
The tour continues to the Mirador del Río cliffs, offering views towards the island of La Graciosa. You will pass through Haría, known as the Valley of 10,000 Palm Trees, and see the Monument to the Peasant from the bus.
Next is a stop in the wine-producing region of La Geria for a wine cellar visit, where you can taste a small glass of local wine and purchase bottles.
Before entering Timanfaya National Park, there is an optional camel ride. If you decline, you can visit a nearby free museum about camels. Inside Timanfaya, witness geothermal demonstrations at Islote de Hilario and follow the volcanic route showcasing the lunar-like terrain.
The tour finishes with a view of Laguna Verde along the lava coast.
