Description
Explore Lanzarote’s volcanic terrain on the exclusive Volcano Route within Timanfaya National Park, accessible only with an official guide. Observe lava fields, craters, and volcanic formations while learning about the island’s volcanic history. At Islote de Hilario, see geothermal demonstrations including water turning into steam and rocks heating due to underground volcanic activity.
Visit Cueva de los Verdes with a guided tour inside one of the world’s longest lava tubes, featuring tunnels and caverns up to 40 meters high extending beneath the sea. Note that this site is unsuitable for visitors with reduced mobility due to uneven underground terrain.
Conclude the day at Jameos del Agua, a coastal volcanic cave transformed by César Manrique. Explore the concert hall, restaurant, and observe the lagoon inhabited by endemic white blind crabs. Swimming is prohibited to protect the ecosystem.
Optionally, you can stop for lunch at a local buffet restaurant (not included in the tour price).
