Join our professional surf school and discover the thrill of surfing in safe, fun and motivating conditions. During your lesson, you’ll be welcomed at the Red Star Surf Shop & School in the heart of Famara. After a short warm-up, you’ll be grouped by skill level to ensure you learn at your own pace. Beginners will practice paddling, standing up, and catching their first waves, while advanced surfers can refine techniques and try more challenging manoeuvres. All lessons are taught in small groups by certified instructors, ensuring maximum attention and faster progress. Our 2-hour class is ideal if you want a quick introduction, while the 4-hour surf lesson includes extra practice and a video analysis (weather permitting) so you can review your performance and improve with professional feedback.If you’re looking for more progress, choose our multi-day courses. The 3-day surf course is perfect for short holidays, giving you a solid foundation with daily video analysis and continuous coaching. For full immersion, the 5-day course is the best value option — it includes professional instruction, all equipment, daily video feedback, plus a surf school certificate and T-shirt to celebrate your achievement. Everything is included — surfboard, wetsuit, and insurance — just bring your swimwear, towel, flip-flops and sunscreen. Lessons usually run in the morning, but please note that times can shift slightly depending on tides and weather for your safety and best conditions. Important Information

• Please be at the meeting point 30 minutes before the lesson starts. Lessons may occasionally be rescheduled due to tides or weather conditions (safety first). Total duration with transfer can take up to 6 hours, depending on hotel location. Hotel pickup may be available upon request from Costa Teguise, Arrecife, and Puerto del Carmen — please contact us in advance to confirm availability. Pickup is not available from Playa Blanca.
