Top Rated - Accommodation in Lanzarote

Finding the top rated accommodation in Lanzarote means looking beyond glossy pictures and focusing on what real guests say. These places have earned their reputation through genuine traveller reviews, many with hundreds sharing what they liked (and sometimes didn’t). The scores you see come from visitors who’ve actually stayed there, so you know these picks aren’t just hype.

Many of the highest rated stays can be found in areas like Puerto del Carmen and Playa Blanca, where the sun and sea draw plenty of visitors but quieter spots like Teguise and Costa Teguise have their loyal fans too. Keep in mind, popular spots can fill up fast during peak season (summer and winter holidays), so booking ahead really pays off. If you want something calmer yet just as well reviewed, consider the north near Orzola for a different side of Lanzarote. Real reviews often mention little things like friendly hosts or peaceful balconies, so give those details a read before you book.

Local advice to know

If you’re chasing the best reviews in Lanzarote, don’t just focus on the big resorts. Smaller guesthouses and self-catering apartments around La Santa or Teguise can offer great comfort with rave reviews from repeat guests who appreciate calm and genuine service. Especially in shoulder seasons like April or October, these places can give you a quieter experience while still being well connected. Also, check for reviews mentioning the owners or staff - friendly hosts often make a big difference in how visitors rate their stay.
