Description

Immerse yourself in the world of freediving with a comprehensive AIDA Level 1 course. Designed for passionate freedivers, this course focuses on special breathing techniques, appropriate equipment, and essential procedures and safety aspects. Over 2 to 3 days, prepare to dive safely and comfortably to depths of up to 10 meters. Begin with two theory sessions, where you’ll learn about safety and problem-solving strategies, breath-holding techniques, and rescue techniques for confined water. Get introduced to specialized apnea equipment and the basic physics and physiology for Level 1 freedivers. Next, participate in one dynamic apnea session and one static apnea session, where you’ll improve your freediving technique and learn proper breathing and compensation techniques. Finally, take part in three open water sessions, where you’ll practice rescue skills, monitor dive partners, and assess yourself. The course includes all necessary freediving equipment, insurance during the course, a digital student manual, digital certification, pool use, and required equipment.
